HMUN Liveblog: Harvard Conference Draws 2,900 Delegates from 35 Countries

This year’s Harvard Model United Nations Conference is larger and more international than ever, drawing over 2,900 delegates from 35 different countries. The conference features 28 committees, ranging from large GAs and ECOSOCs to historical simulations of the Peace of Westphalia and the Fatimid Caliphate. I didn’t count, but there must be over 200 (maybe 300?) delegates in a handful of committees – the pictures below give some sense of their size:
