This page includes information for students enrolled in the Best Delegate Model UN Summer Program at the University of Florida.
Transportation
By Plane:
- Gainesville Airport (GNV) is the closest and most convenient airport. Taxi service to the University of Florida costs about $20-25.
- Students arriving in Orlando (MCO) and Jacksonville (JAX) should email us so we can assist with logistics.
By Car:
- Parking information will be updated shortly.
Best Delegate staff will coordinate with any students needing to be accompanied from their point of arrival to the Florida campus, and we can also coordinate shared rides among students. We will be asking for the arrival and departure information in the Welcome Email.
Arrival
Students should check-in with Best Delegate staff at the University of Florida on Sunday, July 7, between 1-4pm in the afternoon. The exact check-in location on campus will be updated shortly. The program will begin at 4:30pm.
Departure
The program concludes at 11:30am on Saturday, July 13, and students will check out of their rooms by noon.
Welcome Email
All enrolled students will receive a Welcome Email with more details about what to expect during the summer program, what to pack for the program, who their counselors and fellow students will be, and more. We’ll also be asking for medical and logistical information in the same email to ensure students are safe throughout the program.
