Best Delegation, Florida International University at the West Point Security Conference Closing Ceremonies

The second West Point Security conference came to a close on Sunday, 1 April 2012 after a weekend of strong debate and crisis management. While dealing with how to mitigate and react to a potential war between Israel and Iran, the delegates ended the weekend peacefully with a peace negotiation between the nations. That was, of course after the U.S. dropped a team of rangers into Yemen. There were awards given to the best, outstanding, and honorable delegate in each committee (with a few exceptions), an Outstanding Delegation award and a Best Delegation Award.

Award Winners:

Best Delegation Award: Florida International University, who requested to bring a team of six into the conference a week before opening ceremonies. They pulled out the strongest committee award ratios and held the best bureaucracy meetings.

Outstanding Delegation Award: Harvard University, who brought an impressive team to WPSC for their second year in a row.
