Apply to Staff the Model United Nations Institute

How would you like to spend your summer teaching and working with Model UN students from around the world?

This summer, you could have the chance to teach students participating in the Model United Nations Institute (MUNI), Best Delegate’s premier Model United Nations training program. MUNI offers a variety of programs for middle school and high school students ranging from training novice delegates to conference Secretaries-General. Every year we have staff members who join our team eager to work with students and share their experiences! We are looking for eager, passionate mentors to join our team in the following positions: 

1. The Diplomacy Fellowship is a paid eight-week summer fellowship for university students or graduates with significant Model UN experience, mentorship experience, and interest in educating the next generation of student leaders. Diplomacy Fellows will serve as the instructors, trainers, and mentors for students attending MUNI. There will be some weeks where they will be required to serve as Residential Fellows. 
2. The Residential Fellowship position is a paid eight-week summer fellowship for university students or graduates with significant experience in student supervision, safety, and recreational programming. Residential Counselors will ensure that each program is safe and fun for the students, and will run recreational programming during evenings and weekends. They will help mentor students through activities that focus on diplomacy, team work, and international relations. Residential Fellows will be eager and excited to mentor middle school and high school students. 
3. The English Exchange Fellowship is a paid one or two-week summer fellowship for university students or graduates with significant Model UN experience and who also speak Mandarin Chinese fluently. English Exchange Fellows have an interest in educating the next generation of student leaders while helping these student leaders develop their English skills. 

The fellowship term for both Diplomacy Fellows and Residential Counselors is from June 14 – August 7. Staff must be available during the entire fellowship term. If there are questions with the August 7 end date, please list these in your application. All staff will start in Miami, FL being trained by Best Delegate’s staff. Following the conclusion of staff training, staff will travel as a team to teach and supervise programs around the United States throughout the summer.

All staff will receive a competitive stipend with housing provided and meals covered. Transportation between program locations will be provided.
