RUMUN Liveblog: Lunchtime Workshops plus Interviews with Kew Forest School and the Dalton School

Day 2 of the Rutgers Model UN Conference (RUMUN) is underway! I had a chance to interview a few delegates from Kew Forest School and the Dalton School and ask how the conference is going:

During lunch, RUMUN offered various workshops. Their topics ranged from public speaking and resolution writing skills to discussions on the role of NGOs and the global financial system.

I thought this was a great idea — the workshops were well-attended and they allowed the conference to educate students outside of committee. A few were run by RUMUN alumni, so this was also an opportunity for former staff members to come back and help with the conference.

Are you at RUMUNC? Let us know how it’s going in the comments!
