Best Delegate’s Director Institute will be offered at all three of the major THIMUN conferences this year! The Director Institute is a programme for Model UN Directors who support schools that attend THIMUN-affiliated conferences. (Best Delegate offers Advisors Workshop and the Advisors Institute for North American faculty advisors).
The Director Institute was first developed in partnership with THIMUN Qatar and launched at the Qatar Leadership Conference in order to support new Directors in the rapidly-growing Middle East Model UN region. It has since expanded to a Level 1 Programme that teaches new Directors the fundamentals of Model UN, a Level 2 Programme for intermediate Directors ready to develop their student officers and conference secretariat, a Certification Exam that tests for Level 1 knowledge, and a Directors Debate to give Directors a chance to experience a MUN simulation.
How to Register for Singapore, Qatar, or The Hague
Registration for the Director Institutes are required as space is limited. The Director Institute is free for Directors whose schools are already attending the three major THIMUN conferences.
THIMUN Singapore in late November will host the Director Institute Level 1 Programme. Directors from registered schools can contact Irene Crepin to register for a spot in the Director Institute.
THIMUN Qatar in late January will host the Director Institute Level 1, the Certification Exam for Level 1, and the Director Debate. Directors from registered schools can contact Lisa Martin to register for a spot in the Director Institute.
THIMUN Hague in early February will host the Director Institute Level 1 and Level 2 Programmes. Directors from registered schools can contact Irene Crepin to register for a spot in the Director Institute.
In addition, Best Delegate just completed the Director Institute Level 1 and Level 2 Programmes, the Certification Exam, and the Director Debate at the Qatar Leadership Conference in mid-October.

For those in North America
Best Delegate will hold free hour-long Advisors Workshops at major North American conferences in the winter and spring. These will be announced later.
Best Delegate will also run its flagship week-long Advisors Institute in July. The Advisors Institute is an in-depth version of the Level 1 and Level 2 programs and features the Certification Exam and a full day MUN simulation. Details for the Advisors Institute will be announced in December as part of the Model UN Institute launch.
