What are your goals this year for your team?

Chang and Will: Our goal is to develop and expand our core travel team through increasing the amount of time and effort we put into mock sessions and one-on-one office hours. This is the first year in which we anticipate having a level of interest that far exceeds the space we have on our travel team, so we feel like we have a lot of room to grow. The end goal is to build our brand on the national circuit, a process that will certainly take time.

What are you most looking forward to in travel MUN this year?

Chang and Will: We’re definitely looking forward to trying out a couple conferences that we haven’t been to in the past. This focus on smaller, crisis-heavy conferences will allow us to both increase the total number of conferences the team can attend as well as give more of our newer members a chance to experience crisis at a college level. The core of our team is young, and we’re excited to see how everyone develops as delegates as the year goes on.

Each day leading up t0 Yale’s SCSY and Boston University’s BarMUN, we’ll be featuring a few teams. If you would like to see your team featured, and Best Delegate hasn’t contacted you, please reach out to Mari Manoogian at marimanoogian@bestdelegate.com.
