Best Delegate is a global education organization with a mission of preparing today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders through Model United Nations. Our goal is MUN for ALL – we want to provide world-class MUN training and resources to as many students as possible around the world. This year, we’ve create many virtual Model UN opportunities for students, including MUN Online Debates, the Virtual MUN Institute (VMUNI), Virtual MUN Conferences (VMUNC), and MUN Teams.
The Best Delegate team is seeking to recruit A-players who are fueled by a passion to give back their MUN experiences to the global Model UN community – to bring out the best in other delegates. We operate in a fast-paced, startup-like environment that values world-class results, professionalism, and openness to feedback among the team.
There are currently paid positions available in three categories:
- Virtual MUN Conferences (VMUNC) – Committee Chair or Crisis Staff
- Spring Model UN Teams – Coach
- Media Team – Editor-in-Chief and Media Associates

VIRTUAL MUN CONFERENCE POSITIONS
The Virtual Model United Nations Conference Staff (VMUNC Staff) is an opportunity for University students with significant Model UN conference staffing experience and interest in providing an educational learning experience for a large number of beginner and advanced students.
VMUNC Staff will be responsible for:
- Preparing for and professionally leading one day committees
- Providing overall feedback for the delegate’s in your committee
- Ensuring a safe environment for all students at the conference at all times
- Creating a great experience for your committee, as shown through high student feedback scores

MODEL UN TEAM COACH POSITIONS
Model UN Teams are exactly what they sound like! Students will practice their public speaking skills, build their confidence, and make new friends. The Model UN Team Coach position is a 10-week mentorship opportunity for top university students or graduates with significant Model UN training experience, leadership experience, and interest in educating the next generation of student leaders.
Model UN Team Coaches will be responsible for:
- Preparing for and professionally coaching 1-hour Team Meetings each week
- Providing individual feedback to your students following each conference
- Facilitating a fun and educational environment through mentoring
- Ensuring a safe environment for all students in your team at all times
- Creating a great experience for the students in your Team, as shown through high student feedback scores

MEDIA TEAM POSITIONS
The Best Delegate Media Team has a mission of providing the best Model UN website resources and articles to the global MUN community. The team collectively manages the Best Delegate website, our main site that hosts training content and community news.
The Media Team is comprised of one Editor-in-Chief and six Media Associates with various content focus areas. The service term for all positions is from February 1st, 2021 to August 1st, 2021.
- The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for managing the Media Team to produce world-class content for Best Delegate
- 2 Media Associates for Virtual Program Content will create content such as program alumni interviews, articles about student success, and more. Media Associates are paid a small stipend per quarter.
- 2 Media Associates for Model UN Training Content will create content such as articles on specific MUN tips and strategies, beginner-friendly intro content, advanced MUN skills, and more. Media Associates are paid a small stipend per quarter.
- 2 Media Associates for Model UN Community will create content such as conference features and recaps, college and high school rankings and recognition, College All-Stars, and more. Media Associates are paid a small stipend per quarter.
