Waka Waka! Fresh off the successful last World Cup in South Africa, the FIFA Executive Committee convenes to discuss the next step in advancing football — including awarding the bids for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups — and to address other issues like corruption, rule changes, and protests. Not only was this committee of particular interest to the Best Delegate team — Best Delegate‘s Parsa Sobhani chaired a FIFA committee during UCLA’s LAMUN before — but the quality of debate was high and the crisis team did an excellent job at creating tension within the committee.
