This year, we’ve been hard at work updating and revamping our ever-popular Model United Nations conference databases! One of the biggest sources of traffic on this website, the MUN conference databases have long been available as a resource for the global MUN community. At its core, the Best Delegate Conference Database was designed to make Model UN more accessible to delegates and to help conferences expand their reach. There are hundreds of amazing conference across the world, but the endless struggle for advisors and students is finding the ones that fit their criteria.
But from a technological standpoint, the databases had become outdated in the last couple of years. Thus, Best Delegate Media Team member and Conference Database manager Akash Bobba has created a brand new, user-friendly database!
Akash detailed his key goals for how he would build a useful tool for the MUN community: “For my Model UN team, building a conference roster this year has been painful. Finding events that are within driving distance or in a certain time frame entailed extensively asking around and Googling for options. And in terms of hosting our own conference, we were only effectively able to advertise by word of mouth. These were all considerations that I kept in mind while building this service.”
The new Model UN Conference Database is an easy, modern way to find the best Model UN conferences that fit your lifestyle. Additionally, as the global MUN community continues to adapt to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, you are able to search the database for in-person, virtual, and hybrid MUN conferences.

Grade Level
The conference databases have been combined, but you can still access specific grade level conferences on the database homepage.
Sorting with Filters
On the new database, you can sort conferences by name, date, location, level, and more – making it easier than ever before to find conferences that fit your team’s exact criteria! Akash named this feature as one of his favorites, saying, “Given my school’s travel limitations this year we were able to quickly search for virtual conferences in November without having to spend hours sifting through dead links, outdated Facebook pages, and Google.”
Conference Pages
The new Best Delegate Conference Database now has a dedicated page for each conference that you can easily share via social media, text, or email with friends and teammates. Each of these individualized pages has relevant information on conference date, committees, location, and more. Coming soon, conference Secretariat members will be able to add their own conferences and manage updates throughout the year. Conferences added to the database will be made publicly searchable by visitors and will automatically receive their own conference page!
