Khai Nguyen

Khai Nguyen is a first-year student at George Mason University based in Virginia, USA double majoring in Computer Science and Cyber Security. Over his 6 year Model UN career, Khai has undertaken several leadership roles including Secretary-General of Chantilly Model United Nations, and has staffed conferences as a Committee Chair and Crisis Director. From his time working with Best Delegate on the Media Team and at BDMUNC 2019, Khai is extremely excited to be working with the organization once more as Editor of Best Delegate Content! Outside of Model UN, Khai is a U.S. Wushu Team Member, a swim coach, and an active Toastmaster.
Zoey Fisher

Zoey is a junior attending the David Posnack Jewish Day School. MUN has been a part of her life since 8th grade, when she attended her first MUNI. Now she helps staff crisis MUNIs for Best Delegate, as well working as a Media Associate for the last three years. Zoey competes as part of South Florida MUN team, as well as on her school team team of which she is also president. She serves on the Youth Leadership team of MUN impact where she works to educate others on the importance of The SDG’s. When not mixed it up in the alphabet soup of MUN, Zoey swims on her school and local swim teams and creatively writes. Overall, though, Zoey just wishes she could live in a perpetual crisis committee for the rest of her life!
Stephen Hoffman

Stephen Hoffman is a junior at Seton Hall University, majoring in Political Science and History with minors in Business Law and Middle Eastern Studies. Although he did not do Model UN in high school, he currently holds the position of President of Seton Hall’s competitive team and loves competing at every conference he can possibly attend. This will also be his second year chairing a committee at Seton Hall’s high school conference. Outside of MUN, Stephen can likely be found loudly cheering on any Philadelphia sports team and Seton Hall Basketball or searching for a new cheesesteak spot.
Alana Yang

Alana Yang is a junior at Phillips Exeter Academy where she serves as the Director of General Affairs for the MUN club. She developed a passion for international relations, meeting new people, and public speaking when she started MUN at the end of her eighth grade year. Outside of MUN, she participates in her school’s speech and debate club, is an avid sketcher, and runs track!
Claire Wyszynski

Claire Wyszynski is a freshman at the College of William and Mary. She loves to learn about the world, a passion cultivated in MUN. Claire enjoys seeking solutions to international problems with fellow delegates and hopes this collaboration will inspire and create action. Outside of MUN, she enjoys running, and is a member of the Korean Club and her hall’s Community Council.

Piper Womelsdorf

Piper Womelsdorf is a third year student at The Ohio State University studying International Studies, Geography and Arabic. Piper first got involved with Best Delegate as a Diplomacy Fellow for MUNI 2019, but her MUN career began in her senior year of high school and she now serves as Head Delegate for Ohio State’s MUN team. Her favorite conference is PUNC and her favorite style of committee is Specialized Agencies. When she is not traveling with her MUN team, she can be found in coffee shops around campus studying for class or reading about the environment, and she hopes to someday work for the International Criminal Court.
Jack Tapay

Throughout the three years, Jack has become very active within the Model UN community. He currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Bronx Science Model UN Team, where he’s been able to compete in national conferences across the East Coast. Through his experiences in the circuit, Jack found a second home in the activity and resolved to give back as much as he had taken from it. Having seen the socioeconomic barriers inherent to Model UN firsthand, he founded the volunteer organization Raise Your Placard to promote the activity within underserved middle schools in New York City. As the Head of Press at MUN Impact, Jack works to shed light on humanitarian initiatives from the international Model UN community. He hopes to incorporate these experiences and perspectives while serving as a Media Associate of MUN Institute Content, showcasing how Best Delegate can develop students into community leaders.
Jamey Battle

Jamey Battle is currently a junior at UCLA, where she is pursuing a degree in Global Studies. Jamey has heavily been involved in Model United Nations since her college freshman year, as she served as Director General and Secretary General for UCSB’s team before transferring universities.This past summer, she served as a Residential Counselor for Best Delegate’s MUN Institute and is very excited to be a part of the media team! She hopes to pursue a career in foreign affairs and is heavily involved in politics. Outside of MUN, Jamey loves to kayak, go to coffee shops and visit art museums.
Pratham Bhatt

My name is Pratham Bhatt and I am currently a sophomore at the Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences in Woodbridge, NJ. My Model United Nations journey began in middle school and after 4 years of MUN experience, I have become a better speaker, researcher, and leader. As a media associate, I hope to spread my knowledge and passion for Model UN to delegates from all around the world. Outside of MUN, I am a member of HOSA-Future Health Professionals, play soccer on my school team, and am a first-degree black belt in Karate.
Ilinca Drondoe

Hello everyone! My name is Ilinca Drondoe, and I am honored and excited to be a MUN Institute Media Associate. I am a homeschooled high school sophomore from New Hampshire, and I serve as the vice president of my Model UN team at Mosaic Explore. My journey as a Model UNer started with attending the Best Delegate Junior Diplomat and Ambassador programs in 2016/17. My summers at the institute taught me skills that were so valuable at numerous conferences I have attended and won awards at since. I am passionate about international relations and diplomacy, which I aim to study and pursue in the future. Outside of Model UN, I am a NH Youth Legislative Advisory Council member and on the regional executive board of Girl Up. I’m looking forward to working with Best Delegate and the Media Team this year!

Hey everyone! My name is Munahil Sultana and it is truly an honor to serve as a Best Delegate Media Associate. I am currently a senior at Elmont Memorial High School in Long Island, New York. I joined Model United Nations in the seventh grade and I’ve been an avid member ever since. Over the past four years, I have attended multiple conferences and have won awards such as Best Delegate in the past. Besides Model UN, I am also President of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Key Club as well as multiple honor societies and extracurriculars. I am extremely excited to be working with Best Delegate for a third year as well as for releasing new content!

Akash, a junior at West Windsor-Plainsboro high school, is an avid member of the SouthMUN team since his freshman year. He attests that MUN has been one of the most rewarding and formative aspects of his high school career. He hopes to share this experience by serving as a chair in his school’s annual conference, SouthMUNC, and as the Conference Database Manager for Best Delegate in the 2019-2020 year. Outside of MUN, he actively pursues his passion for computer science. You can typically find him sleep-deprived at hackathons, spending countless hours on CTF challenges, or idly browsing through Github repositories.
Noran Alaa

Noran Alaa is an Egyptian Multimedia Journalism senior at the American University in Cairo. Noran is passionate about helping young people become more aware of the world and how to change it for the better; through Media. She’s been an avid Press MUNer since she was a freshman in High School. She served as USG DPI for WIMUN India 2018, USG DPI for WIMUN New York 2019, and as a PIO at WIMUN Geneva 2019. She can be spotted finishing assignments from a train in Delhi or a New York subway. When she’s not working, she’s either catching a show at the theater, taking photos or drawing.
