Ivy League Model United Nations Conference (ILMUNC) Liveblog: Opening Ceremonies Welcomes a Record 3,000 Delegates

The twenty-eighth Ivy League Model United Nations Conference (ILMUNC) welcomed a record 3,000 delegates from nine countries. This is by far the largest attendance the conference has ever had. We have highlights from Opening Ceremonies below including remarks from Secretary-General Phill Venice, the announcement of the first ILMUNC China conference, and a shout out to Best Delegate.

I don’t have this on video but Director-General Jocelyn Perry also announced that this year’s Franklin Legacy — ILMUNC’s charity program — will benefit Cartooning for Peace and Reporters Without Borders.
