There are many reasons to join Best Delegate Summer Programs, from the best Model UN training in the world and becoming the Best Delegate to learning at the world’s best universities and showing your best self on college applications.
But here’s what makes all those reasons worth it: because M-U-N is F-U-N!
You want to learn a lot this summer, but you don’t want to give up your summer. That would actually defeat the point of Model UN, which is being able to learn while having fun. You do Model UN because it’s fun — the learning just happens along the way — and you happen to learn a lot.
This program is not a super intense nothing-but-research-and-public-speaking-and-workshops all the time sort of program. We’re not training robots — we’re training leaders. So we’ve made sure to schedule social activities, entertainment, and free time, so you can relax, meet fellow students, make new friends, and enjoy your summer!
I really enjoyed the leadership-building exercises especially the 360 discussion and the crossing the border exercise. I would recommend this camp to others because not only do you learn the rules and strategies of Model UN, but you also develop leadership skills while having fun!
