Conference Recaps
London International Model United Nations
LIMUN took place this past weekend in London. The London International Model United Nations (LIMUN) is Europe’s largest college conference with a record 1,300 delegates from over 130 universities from all six continents! The conference was held at Imperial College London and this year’s theme was “Shape the Future – Right Here, Right Now.” We have photos from Opening Ceremonies, committee sessions, International Carnival Night, the Delegates’ Ball, and Closing Ceremonies.
The University of Florida Model United Nations organization’s conference provides a learning experience unlike any other in that it breaks from the traditional classroom setting to transform high school students into experts on pressing international issues. For the weekend, students become delegates in important international forums addressing complex global issues such as preventing the spread of diseases, defending human rights, and upholding justice in the international system.

Harvard National Model United Nations
Now, in the fifty-eighth year of our attempt to model the UN, we are humbled by the prospect of bringing together 3,000 university students from over 35 nations throughout the world in order to engage in enlightening debate over the most pressing issues that face the international community today. Our staff of over 200 Harvard undergraduate students works tirelessly for over 11 months to create a conference that will promote instructive dialogue and cultural exchange. As delegates engage in discussion and diplomacy on behalf of the countries they represent, their skills in researching, writing, negotiating, and public speaking will be put to the test.
