The past year has been a challenge for billions of people around the globe and has seen changes in the ways we learn, interact, and engage with the world. The international Model United Nations community, one historically based around in-person conferences, saw drastic changes during the 2020 – 2021 school year, including the shift from in-person conferences to the virtual MUN format and the cancellation of many major conferences due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19. The uncertainty of the hybrid learning environment left many questions about what MUN would look like moving forward, and what MUN Conferences would look like for participating delegates in the coming years.
As this year’s MUN Season kicks off to open debate, we’re excited to see how the MUN community has adapted to recent challenges and upcoming opportunities for passionate MUN delegates ready to suit up to solve today’s most pressing global issues!
