Webinar Recording: How Model UN Organizers Keep Their Conferences Thriving Online

On Tuesday, October 6th, Best Delegate hosted a community webinar entitled “Model United Nations Conferences in the Era of COVID-19.” With over 130+ community members attending, this panel of Model UN experts from across the United States and the world was able to provide information to many advisors and student leaders about how to keep their MUN conferences and teams thriving during the coronavirus pandemic.

The experts on the panel were able to answer a number of questions from attendees, including questions about best practices for virtual Model UN logistics, how to keep students engaged in online programs, and any changes in their conference planning and finances. With panelists from global MUN organizations, large and local conferences, high school and university level, the range of expertise showed how Model UN leaders across the board are working to empower students despite challenges posed from the pandemic.

With participation from MUN community members from Mozambique, Venezuela, Singapore, Honduras, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, Canada, India, Guatemala, Mexico, Iran, Colombia, Kuwait, and more – this was a truly global collaboration that was able to provide hope and guidance to educators and students around the world.
