University of Pennsylvania Model United Nations Conference (UPMUNC)
UPMUNC is one of the largest, fun, and well-run collegiate Model UN conferences in the world and the cornerstone for many travel teams’ fall schedule. This year’s conference is held November 11-14, 2010 and will feature nine traditional UN committees plus twelve crisis committees including the Ad Hoc Committee of the Secretary-General and The West Wing. Conference social activities include the infamous DelegateFest, a new Delegate Brunch, and more. Sachi Sobti is the Secretary-General and leads a staff of over 300 volunteers to put on this conference.
Davis Collegiate Conference Model United Nations (DCCMUN)
UC Davis will host its second annual collegiate conference on November 13-14, 2010. The conference will feature three committees: 6th Legal, the Human Rights Council, and the Security Council. Similar to UC Berkeley’s BayMUN, this conference will allow newer delegates to dip their feet into the local college MUN scene. The conference Secretary-General is Claire Stanley.
