Model United Nations has always been a bit complicated for parents to understand, especially since they’re not the ones participating in the activity! Now that Model UN has largely transitioned to a virtual setting, we thought this would be a good time to update our Parent Guide to Model UN to fit the new normal.
In this updated guide, Learn How to Help Your Child Succeed Virtually in Model UN and Beyond, we provide parents with the basics of Model UN structure and jargon, as well as with information on how Model UN can work and thrive online. By the time they’re done reading our guide, parents of Model UN students will have a deeper understanding of Model UN and how they can encourage their child to thrive in Model UN.
Overall, parents should use this guide to understand the benefits of Model UN, why it’s important for their child, and how they can encourage their child to participate and succeed this year.
